Jim and Cheri started their third restaurant, Roost, in Templeton, Ca. Their French provincial bistro and bakery is located in the heart of historical Templeton on Main Street. While in the planning stages they called in the design team at Studio 101 West to give them the perfect look. I love when creative food people appreciate creative graphic design. When I meet with a client for any type of design work I spend a significant amount of time getting to know them, their business, their market and their plans. Talking with Jim about his plans for the menu made my mouth water and it set the tone for this fun yet elegant, hand-lettered logo.
